i am disappointed

while my spirit was being crushed, you stood by and let it happen

while i was breaking down in tears, you left me with my misery

you're supposed to catch me when i fall

i have fallen and now my body is all broken

but you're still not here, not even to mend the broken pieces

and i lie here, still alone

with disappointment overshadowing my pain.
