t some people have a pattern to their lives
wake up-go about their boring day-sleep
others have very unpredictable lives though
wake up-scale a mountain or two-break a leg-sleep
and in the middle of this spectrum, there are some lives which are predictable, though not to the point of boredom, and unpredictable, though not the the point of dangerous.
i am glad to say my life falls in the middle. otherwise i would either be this person so uninteresting, talking to a dog would be more fun, or this extreme daredevil whose friends grow white hairs from constantly worrying if that day might be my last.
ok enough with the philosophy of life thing. on to my blog post.
hmmm....what to say what to say. i shall tell you about my nights.
on Friday night i was in this funny bad mood, why i was in one i have no idea. I'm not getting my period, no one made me angry, just suddenly received a visit from MrShortTempered. i stomped around the house, came into the room and yelled at my sister for watching her anime instead of looking at me (O.o) , picked up a huge stack of papers and books and whatnot to slam down on my table. as i was about to slam the books down, i saw Naked Empire sitting there innocently, so i gently picked it up and set it down somewhere far away where it would get hit by the earthquake that was about to come. after it was safely out of the way, i whammed the papers/books/whatnot down, so hard till the table shook dangerously. then i picked Naked Empire up gently again, and set it carefully down on top of the mountain of papers/books/whatnot, and crowned it King Of The Rubbish Empire.
and Saturday night! well well well...it was an entirely different and much more enjoyable night altogether. my family and i went to this tiny itsy bitsy coffee shop that had fabulous teh si. sat down, and i got really bored. so i started playing hand games with my family! played that game that probably none of you know and I'm too lazy to explain it to you, heart attack, the thumb game, the game where you hold hands in a shake-hand position and play scissors paper stone and the winner slaps the other person's hand real hard. heart attack and that scissors paper stone game were the most fun.
while playing heart attack, my mum found something hilariously funny, and she laughed and laughed and laughed until tears started flowing from her eyes. that only made her laugh harder, and we had a terrible time getting her to calm down.
and during the scissors paper stone game, I started laughing so hard till tears came to MY eyes. it was all my dad's fault, coz he was making these idiotic faces with funny sound effects. i guess i know where i get my crazy genes from...
and today is Sunday, night hasn't come yet, so i don't know what kind of night it will be tonight, but i am anticipating it.
i just realised my nights are like my philosophy on life thingy.
Friday night, i was at the angry end of the spectrum. on Saturday night, i was waaaaaay on the other end, the crazily funnily happy end. i think today's night will be the middle of the spectrum; the normal night, with some tempers flaring up and laughter chasing the anger away.
but there is ONE thing special about tonight. not just tonight, but today.
it is the day that my best friend/cousin/brother was born. so happy birthday my dear friend/cousin/brother.
now that you're 15, maybe you'll learn to be more mature... but that's like asking shoes to talk. why i came up with that comparison i have no idea.
but anyhow, she's still the one who plays a mean game of dun-smile-game, she's the one who isn't afraid of making idiotic faces in public places to get me to smile, in vain though, i might add ^^
she's an irritating, annoying, hilarious, amazing person, and i am proud to be her best friend/cousin/brother. i think last year i was also know as her bus buddy. her man! *secret handshake* *the guy thingy(ouch)*
ok my happy birthday thingy is kinda lame, but who cares. i don't need to type it down to elt her know how much i love her. she already knows. and i know she's gonna get a big head from reading this. i am dreading it. but since it's her birthday, i shall close one eye.
have a happy day people
save the earth
cherish the times with your family, whether good or bad
cherish a friend like brenda:)
