wah.
just slogged through 2 hours of chinese tuition.
i am officially brain dead.
but actually chinese tuition isn't that bad lah.
other than i take it with a
boy, that it's two hours, and it's chinese, it's actually quite ok.
i don't listen anyway. when he reads the passage i just stare down at the book and pretend to follow, when i'm actually day-dreaming. when the teacher flips it makes a rustling noise that wakes me up, and i flip my page too, then go back to dreaming.
i'm quite sure that the boy's dreaming too. coz once when we were supposed to flip the page, he still continued staring down at the book like he was smitten by it. only after a while did he wake up and realise that we were at a different page already. HAHA.
yes, he has a name, and it is(haha) ting hao, and i have no idea what his english name is(if he even has one) coz i don't talk to him.
the only thing i said was "your turn" when we were playing chinese chess. yes, that's the only thing i've ever remembered saying to him in a whole year. and since he's not considered my friend, i shall him "the boy" and not his name.
speaking of chinese chess, did you know that i ABSOLUTELY SUCK AT IT!!!
coz halfway through tuition my teacher very nicely lets us play games to relieve the boredom. sometimes we play some weird move-your-thingys-to-the-other-side game, and sometimes we play chinese chess.
and, i am proud to say, i beat the boy in every game of the move-to-the-other-side game, and in assignments, and such. but in chinese chess, omg i just get trashed. it's really deflating for my ego to be beaten by a
BOY!
i remember the very very first time i played chess with him, i trashed him. that was one year ago. i bet he's been practising so he can beat me. annoying! i shall go find some online chinese chess and work on perfecting my chess skills.
boohoo. why can't we go back to the move-to-the-other-side game.
