hello ade, i see that after how many years of me being the one who did the SAVE THE EARTH posts on the blog, you're taking over my job (:
well i have always always always daydreamed about living in a forest clearing(jeanette if you're reading this think of the place where richard, cara and kahlan lived when kahlan was recovering from being beaten up). yup.
think wooden hut with simple necessities inside(oh but i NEED a flush toilet). waking up to the sound of birds tweeting merrily in the sky. smelling the clean, fresh mountain air.
feeling the cool wind brush your face, and the morning dew wetting your feet as you go outside. you're surrounded by huge, lush, leafy-green trees, and a couple of squirrels scamper around the branches.
you hear, but can't yet see, the nearby river. you walk along a small, earthy trail to the river, and finally you see it, the sparkling clear blue water flowing smoothly. you step into the river and the warm water swirls gently around your legs.
you take a long, relaxing bath, no one telling you to hurry. small, brightly coloured fish dart around you and when you look up, you see a doe and her fawn nibbling daintily at the juicy green grass.
after you finish your bath, you lie on a sun-warmed rock and look up at the light blue sky, while the sun caresses you with her loving fingers of sunshine. eventually, when you finally tear yourself away from the warm rock, you walk back in the shade of the trees, back to your little hut.
you open your little larder, get some bread and cheese and milk out, and go outside for a picnic breakfast. you sit on a blanket, and eat your meal in peace.
then after that? maybe you go exploring.
and after that? maybe you go swimming.
after that? maybe knitting.
well okay i don't know what there is to do in the great outdoors. usually i have tons of things to do, just can't think of any now.
