had an uber productive bible study session today!!

i mean usually, people say God understands your pain/grief/dilemma, i just take it as that. but today, i really really realised, that He(God) really really truly understands.

coz He too, experienced everything we did, first-hand, as Jesus.
He gave up His life as a carpenter, dropped everything and without anything, went everywhere to preach and spread the word. now along the way, He must have been, starving, sleep-deprived, wounded, ridiculed, or whatever, at some point of His journey.

went through temptation, grief, happiness, just like the rest of us. imagine the pain when He was crucified! just sit down and imagine having a big rusty nail pounded into your arm. most of us would be screaming for it to stop, but He was thinking only of us till the very last minute.

why?
just so that He could experience what we could, instead of just sympathising, and so that if God, as a human, who went through all this could come out smiling at the other end, why can't we?

makes me feel good when i talk to Him, because now he understands.

well anyway, guess what! watching hp6(finally) tomorrow :) :) :)
booked 4 tickets online, and guess what! GV weirdly decided to present me with one complimentary ticket, so it only cost $31 total. cheaper than 4 tickets bought on a weekday! wait. is it? ah well, don't tell me, make me happy :D
