so prelims are over, and i'm back to blogging every once in a purple moon.
and i desperately need to cut my nails, i'm having so much trouble smsing. but lazy lah.
yesterday was graduation. what a very very very very very sad day.
went to school fine, had a unproductive math lesson, had operation clean up. during the OCU, priscilla went to bring a fake cockroach to school and started flinging it at everyone. urgh the screaming that was going on. i will miss it loads :(
then had the graduation ceremony.
first had to listen to some crappy motivational talk which failed to deliver it's purpose. seriously! the speaker's voice was like a chainsaw which threatened to tear apart my eardrums. and there was a small part of her "motivational" speech that just spoke volumes about what kind of a mother she is.
she said her daughter messaged her when she was out, saying "ma, i feel sick. i shall go and sleep". and the motivational woman tried to motivate her daughter to work instead, saying" okay go sleep, i'll just wake you up at 4 am tmr to study"
then yadaa yadda her daughter decided to study instead, then came home and said something about the answer to one of the questions being in the last bit that she studied.
the point, i could see, was supposed to be about putting in effort because every bit counts. but all i could absorb was how horrible she was, as a mother. your daughter feels sick, and instead of worrying for her, you threaten to wake her up at 4 am?!
she also said her daughter studied till 12.30 that night. she's only sec1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a terrible mother.
then came the time for the class videos.
i tried SO very hard not to cry. but as i was watching all the class videos, it just hit me so hard that the reason why we were declaring our love for the teachers and the school and the classmates was because we weren't ever going to spend another day together as a class.
and boosh, the tears came.
but they were just small tears that rolled down my cheeks. at least i wasn't like jh, who was bawling and burying her face in her legs.
managed to stop after it was over, and we were listening to mrs lim's speech. she was saying something about...an apple tree. and she gave all of us apples. appreciate the thought, mrs lim. it was yummy anyway.
then. finally. the end came. the part where we say goodbye for the last time. i wanted to say bye to mdm amizah, so i hugged her, and she said"take care" in this trembling voice, and boosh, the tears came again.
not just raindrops this time, but a big cascading waterfall. i just can't express in words how i feel about my TK life. how everyone in TK filled an irreplaceable void in my life, however small that void was.
and now pulling everyone out of their niche in my life is just so painful.
i hugged everyone i could, and everytime i hugged them, i was aware that it was the final goodbye, and tears would start anew. robyn was following me around, telling me to take deep breaths and calm down, and trying to make me laugh. thank you robyn, i will miss you loads.
after i calmed down i went to the toilet and realised i look absolutely horrendous when i cry buckets.
went for a movie after that, with cheang ming, siti, fann, sakina, robyn and clarissa. fame was really really really good. but there were these ang moh girls sitting a few rows in front, and MY were they noisy.
first, whent he movie started, they started clapping, then when one guy came out, they started yelling "he's so hot!" and when a girl cheated on her bf, they started booing and saying"what a b****!!" then they would openly text and the light from the phone was very distracting.
they would laugh and giggle and their own jokes.
one girl was glued to her phone, and would occasionally get up and go out to talk, and she stomps on the stairs real loud. what a fat ass girl.
then A LOT people said SHHH, and they would turn around and SHHH right back, then some yelled "EH shut up lah!" and they would turn and say in this self-righteous incredulous voice" are you telling ME to shut up?!"
O. M. G. you inconsiderate and no-mannered people. go back to your country, where you can comment loudly in cinemas along with your fellow country mates. we don't need you here. you're selfish and rude, and most probably dumb, which is why you couldn't sit down to appreciate the movie and had to make your own stupid jokes to entertain yourself.
cheang ming was also angry, but then she was all, claudine, we should argue with retarded people. we should be civil minded. HAHA.
seriously lah. horrible. cheang says they go to chatsworth. and chatsworth's motto is "inspire, educate, enlighten"
WELL YOU AREN'T DOING A GOOD JOB, CHATSWORTH. how about enlightening your students on how other movie go-ers feel, and educating them on proper etiquette, and then inspiring them to actually be nice people???
the girls were so arrogant. if i had the courage i would have thrown popcorn at them. and now in the papers they're reporting on how indian expats are very arrogant as well. why are we being treated this way!!!!!!!
urgh. just makes me angry.
i shall go now. i have raspberries to attend to.
